In a letter, McClain congratulated Noem on her recent confirmation and praised her leadership, stating, "President Trump has made an outstanding selection to run the agency responsible for securing our borders from dangerous criminals and cartels, as well as protecting our homeland from threats abroad."
The letter comes in response to comments by Grand Rapids Mayor David LaGrand, who stated that city law enforcement would not cooperate with federal authorities in deporting criminal illegal aliens.
