Matt Maddock, a member of the Michigan House of Representatives, posted a series of tweets on November 1, 2025, expressing criticism of the judiciary and other political opponents.

In his first tweet at 01:37 UTC, Maddock questioned judicial accountability by asking, "Why are we not impeaching 212 judges?"

One minute later, he commented on how to respond to political adversaries, writing, "Always mock the kommies back. Always." The use of "kommies" is a pejorative reference to communists or left-leaning individuals.

At 01:39 UTC, Maddock continued his critique with another post: "And taxpayers pay for this lunacy"

Maddock has been known for his outspoken positions on issues related to government oversight and criticism of perceived liberal policies. As a Republican representative in Michigan, he has previously advocated for greater scrutiny over public officials and has been vocal about fiscal responsibility within state institutions.
