On Sunday, March 23, former Lake Orion High School standout Chris Hege’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, lost 6-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles.

The game took place at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Screaming Eagles this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 2:30 p.m. at Capaha Field against Southeast Missouri State Redhawks.
