On Sunday, March 23, former Stoney Creek High School standout Evan Woodward’s current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, won 11-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Roosevelt Lakers.

The game took place at SVSU Baseball Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Lakers this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 3 p.m. at SVSU Baseball Complex against Rochester Warriors.
