Oakland Christian School recently issued the following announcement.
Welcome our new Elementary Physical Education teacher! Brian Charlton is a lifelong Oak Park Resident.
Prior to coming to Oakland Christian School, Brian taught for 18 years with Southfield Public Schools. He has taught students from as young as 4 years of age to age 26, and he has taught in the areas of Physical education and Special Education. He has his Bachelor of Arts in education from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Madonna University.
He is certified to teach in Physical Education, History, Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders. His wife Chandra is a Physical Therapist in Southfield Michigan.
Brian and Chandra have three children, and two of them attend Oakland Christian School. Brian has been a Christian for twenty-five years and his family is currently attending LifeChurch of Southfield.
