Chairwoman Lisa McClain, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Michigan’s 9th district since 2021, posted a series of messages on her official social media account this week, addressing topics ranging from economic policy to political commentary and personal appeals.

On September 9, 2025, McClain criticized the Biden administration's handling of the economy and highlighted recent legislative actions by House Republicans. She wrote, "The contrast couldn’t be clearer: The Biden administration destroyed our economy and killed American jobs. House Republicans just delivered tax cuts for working families. Ask yourself, why are the Democrats so afraid of transparency from BLS? Could it be that they don’t want".

Later that day, McClain shared her experience hosting members of a popular political podcast at the Capitol. She stated on September 9, "Honored to host America’s favorite “progrum” today on Capitol Hill. It’s easy to see how the good fellas from the @RuthlessPodcast are making politics fun again! https://t.co/PHfrFaascj".

On September 10, McClain posted a message of support for conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. Her post read: "Pray for Charlie Kirk. Lord look after him."

McClain has served in Congress since replacing Paul Mitchell in 2021 and represents Michigan’s 9th district. Born in Stockbridge in 1966 and currently residing in Bruce, she graduated from Northwood University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1997.
