ELA classes across Scripps have been choosing new books to read for upcoming book clubs. 8th grade students in Mrs. Bennett and Mrs. Stalions' classes experienced a dystopic book tasting in the media center with Ms. Lowe. They completed a personality quiz that matched them with a type of dystopic future. Each future choice came with recommended book titles. Students then explored all the options before deciding their future. 7th grade students in Mrs. Creps and Ms. Davis' classes experienced a historical fiction book tasting in the media center and learned about different momentous periods in history.
