Oakland Christian School issued the following announcement on Nov 5.
Mrs. Morga's Kindergarten class has been discussing Joseph, and character traits of Endurance and Forgiveness. Last week they focused on forgiveness and had such a sweet time together.
Mrs. Morga shared a story and a drawing of a time someone hurt someone hurt her feelings. She then shared how God spoke into her heart and how she needed to forgive that person. She then took the picture and tore it up, to show how God was helping her to forgive, then she threw it in the trash to show she was "giving it God" and not taking it back.
The students then did their own drawing, spent some quiet time in prayer asking God to help them to forgive.Then they got to tear up their story of hurt and give it to God.
