City of Pontiac recently issued the following announcement.
Yard Waste Collection Extended to December 10th!
Due to the late leaf drop this year, the collection of yard waste has been extended to December 10th. Please remember, yard waste must be in 30-gallon paper bags or a 10-35 gallon trashcan with a yard waste sticker clearly visible (limit 10 bags per week). Twigs up to 2" in diameter and 4' long tied up with rope or twine are accepted. Raking yard waste or other debris into the street is a violation of City Ordinance and may result in a fine.
