Avondale School District issued the following announcement on Dec 16.
A HUGE ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO OUR AVONDALE MIDDLE SCHOOL MUSTANGS!
The students raised more than $4000 to support Avondale Gift of Giving (and they still have 2 more fundraisers scheduled!!) A group of students from Mrs. Terese McNelis Schmidt's Round Up class raised the most money so far and earned the honor of helping to pack bags for the Gift of Giving Holiday Drive.
Additional props to Avondale bus driver Mr. Ken, GoG Organizer Mrs. Bonnie Kakuda, and AMS teacher Mrs. Sarah Gilbert for assisting the students. Mustang Proud!
