Pontiac City School District issued the following announcement on Jan 28.
Yesterday was a great day for PSD! Mittens for Detroit, together with an amazing group of partners, distributed mittens to every PSD student. We kicked off the day with a distribution event at Owen and Kennedy. Volunteers from GM, Pontiac Stamping, UWM, M1 Concourse Private Garage Owners Group and Stelantis were all on hand to pass out mittens, along with Superintendent Williams, Board of Education Vice President Kenyada Bowman, soon to be publically sworn in trustee Marcus Terry and City Council President Mike McGuinness.
Thank you to everyone who brought so much warmth and love to our kids!
