Avondale School District issued the following announcement on Apr 5.
CONGRATULATIONS to our Avondale High School Vocal Music Department on their successes on March 25th and Saturday, March 26th at the Michigan School Vocal Music Association (MSVMA) State Solo and Ensemble! We had over twenty events participate and over 85% of our students received a 1st Division!! We entered a total of 24 events - 2 ensembles and 22 soloists!
Large Ensembles
Women’s Chorus - 1st Division - They received a perfect score 120 out of 120
Men of Avondale - 1st Division - They missed a perfect score by 1 point. (119 out of 120)
