Attending a presentation/conversation with guest speaker Paul Ulewicz. Paul had an open conversation with our young men about mental health, specifically in athletes and in teenagers. He shared some strategies on how to appropriately handle certain situations when it comes to our mental health.
On July 11th, three members of the Auburn Hills Police Department joined the team for a "Manly Monday Practice". Officers Mike Lane, Tyler Dearing-Manning, and Chris Saikalis participated in a field work, and competed against some of our players in a bench press competition. Following, they talked with the team about what it looks like to be a positive, contributing member of our community.
On July 13th eight Yellow Jacket linemen participated in the "Linemen Challenge" at Stoney Creek High School. Some highlights included winning the tire flip competition, and Senior DeShawn Robinson winning the individual Tug-o-War competition for the second year in a row!!
