On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Avondale High School standout Emily Beckas’ current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, lost 16-14 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the North Georgia Nighthawks.

The game took place at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Nighthawks this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 3 p.m. at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium against North Georgia Nighthawks.
