Emily Beckas, former Avondale High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA Division II Softball Championship

Former Avondale High School standout and current Saginaw Valley State Cardinals player, Emily Beckas will compete in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

They begin the tournament as a number one seed against the eighth seeded Ferris State Bulldogs.

The first game is on Thursday, May 8 at 2 p.m.
