On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Pontiac High School standout Bailey Masching’s current college team, the UIS Prairie Stars, won 4-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Missouri Southern State Lions.

The game took place at Memorial Park. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.

The Prairie Stars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 12 p.m. at Lady Jacket Field against Cedarville Yellow Jackets.
