Sunday, Feb. 16: Oxford High School standout Gavin Walters’ college team loses to LSU Tigers

On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Oxford High School standout Gavin Walters’ current college team, the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons, lost 8-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the LSU Tigers.

The game took place at Skip Bertman Field @ Alex Box Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Mastodons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. at Joe Maynard Field at Raymond C. Hand Park against Austin Peay Governors.
