Matt Maddock, a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives, posted several statements on September 15, 2025, addressing his views on local communities and the judiciary in Michigan.

In one post, Maddock shared an image or video from Sterling Heights, stating, "This is Sterling Heights." (September 15, 2025).

Later that day, Maddock commented on his experience within the legal system. He wrote, "I’ve been in the Justice System for 35 years and I’ve witnessed the Michigan Bench turn from 80% good (conservative, democrat, moderate, independent) judges to 80% bad leftist judges." (September 15, 2025).

In a subsequent post, Maddock added his perspective on judicial influence over communities: "Nothing destroys a peaceful, safe, good community faster or more effectively than a leftist or communist judge. Nothing." (September 15, 2025).

Maddock has served as a state legislator representing parts of Oakland County. His recent social media activity reflects ongoing debates about judicial appointments and political influence within Michigan’s court system.
