Chairwoman Lisa McClain, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Michigan’s 9th district since 2021, posted a series of statements on her social media account addressing recent political events and demonstrations.

On October 17, 2025, McClain shared information about a press event with the post: "House Republican Press Conference https://t.co/7Z8IxavTpP".

The following day, she commented on rallies taking place over the weekend. In her October 18 post, McClain wrote: "Democrats attending the Soros’ funded “Hate America” rallies this weekend are putting Chaos over Country. Instead they should join Republicans in putting people over politics by reopening the government. Shame on them! https://t.co/CYYfWY9mQc".

Later that same day, she further criticized the events by stating: "The “No Kings”…or as I like to call them “Hate America” rallies this weekend are literally sponsored by the Communist AND Socialist Parties of America. Don’t take my word for it, it's on their flyer https://t.co/Kd3Yv7PX22".

Lisa McClain was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently resides in Bruce. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University in 1997. She succeeded Paul Mitchell as representative for Michigan’s 9th district beginning in 2021.
