Oxford Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
Hello, everyone! I am here with a few things regarding the "Oxford First Responder Support, Solidarity, and Thanks" banner I made!
Regarding use: You may use the banner for your cover/banner photo on any social media platform, you have full right to print it, put it on a sign, do whatever!
Alteration: Do NOT alter the banner in ANY WAY, for respect to the school, Oxford, the first responders, and anyone who has rendered aid and assistance! The ONLY thing you may do is remove my signature if needed!
Mistreatment: I will NOT condone using the banner to gain clout or fame, to show hate, to disrespect, or use it as a political item, as that is NOT what it is meant for, what it IS meant for is to show support and solidarity, and to give thanks to the ones that have helped!
Copyright: I am the sole creator of the banner, I started work on it immediately after the shooting, and I take major pride in what I have done in order to give thanks to everyone who rendered aid and assistance! I really do not want to see anyone claim the banner as their own when it isn't. If someone claims it as their own please let me know if and when possible.
