Rochester Hills not impacted by Boil Water Advisory

Rochester Hills residents and businesses are NOT impacted by the Boil Water Advisory currently issued in a number of neighboring communities.

We are asking that irrigation usage is limited or not used at all as it puts extra stress on an already stressed system.

The water pressure in Rochester Hills never fell below the 20psi threshold for declaring a Boil Water Advisory.

Crews have isolated the break and are working on a repair. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, GLWA expects the timeline for returning the pipeline to service to be two weeks - one week for repairs and an additional week for water quality testing.

Communities under the Boil Water Advisory include:

- Village of Almont

- Bruce Township

- Burtchville Township

- Imlay City

- City of Rochester

- Shelby Township

- Washington Township
