Six Lake Orion High School students were recognized commended students by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation for their performance on the PSAT the previous school year.
That places them among the approximately 50,000 high scorers and receive a Letter of Commendation in recognition of their outstanding academic promise.
Fontana Blackney, Alison Miller, Sara Gregg, Colin Junkin, Benjamin Filias and Sara Heilman were all recognized for their proficiency.
