Representative Lisa McClain discusses border policy and conservatism in recent tweets

Representative Lisa McClain, serving Michigan's 9th district in the U.S. Congress since 2021, recently shared her perspectives on several topics through social media posts. McClain addressed issues ranging from national security to local sports events and political philosophy.

On December 9, 2024, Representative McClain expressed concerns about the current administration's handling of border security. She stated: "Biden and Harris’s border crisis created chaos. The American people want the border secured. @HouseGOP will clean up their mess and bring safety and security back!"

The following day, December 10, 2024, she shifted focus to a local sporting event involving the Detroit Lions. She commented: "A real Michigander would know the first place Detroit @Lions play the Bills this Sunday, and they're wearing their gritty new black uniforms. #OnePride"

Later that same day, McClain met with Robert Doar from the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) to discuss governmental efficiency and effectiveness aligned with conservative values. She remarked: "Conservatism is the winning message. It was a pleasure to meet with @AEI President Robert Doar today to discuss how AEI's foundation of limited government aligns with House Republican's priorities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of government in the upcoming Congress."
