Saturday, Feb. 22: Avondale High School standout Emily Beckas’ college team loses to North Georgia Nighthawks

On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Avondale High School standout Emily Beckas’ current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the North Georgia Nighthawks.

The game took place at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Nighthawks this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 3 p.m. at Launch Pad Sports Complex against Bridgeport Purple Knights.
