Lake Orion Community Schools issued the following announcement on July 26.
As our district looks forward to the 2021-22 school year, the administrative positions in the district will continue to keep LOCS among the state’s elite.
In that spirit, I would like to share that Jamie Evans will be taking over as the new supervisor at Pine Tree Center this fall.
Jamie has a variety of leadership experience in LOCS, most recently as social worker and participant in the Special Education leadership groups. She has also worked in an Oakland County center-based program.
She will transition to Pine Tree Center this summer, succeeding Jillian Knapp, who has assumed a new role as the Orion Oaks Elementary principal.
We look forward to adding Jamie to our strong team of leaders.
