City of Auburn Hills issued the following announcement on Apr 5.

Licensing is an important public safety issue and ensures that all dogs residing in our community have their current rabies vaccinations.

You can purchase a dog license at the treasurer’s office from January 1st – June 1st. Beginning June 2nd, people who have not purchased a current year dog license are considered delinquent. After June 1st, all dog licenses cost $40.00. These fees are set by the Oakland County Board of Commissioners.
