The City of Rochester has been given an additional Quota Class C Liquor License by the State of Michigan based on our population change identified in the 2020 Federal Census.
City Council is in receipt of two requests for said license and expects to discuss the proposals at their November 14th meeting, with next steps being to set a public hearing for review of the requests. The City will entertain any additional requests for the new license up until November 9th. Please Contact City Manager/Economic Development Director Nik Banda if you are interested in the new license. He can be reached by phone at 248.909.4072 or email, Nbanda@Rochestermi.org. Applicants will be required to fill out the City’s liquor license request form and submit the $750 processing fee to be considered.
