Rep. Lisa McClain has expressed her support following the U.S. House of Representatives' passage of the Fix Our Forests Act. The legislation aims to address issues related to forest management and fire prevention.

"Our prayers continue to be with the victims of the devastating California fires," said McClain, a Republican from Michigan. "House Republicans decided to take action and pass this critical piece of legislation again. Thank you to Chairman Bruce Westerman for spearheading this solution that will save lives, homes, and businesses nationwide."

The bill had previously passed in the House with strong bipartisan backing but failed to advance in the Senate, which was under Democratic control at that time.
