Reps. Lisa McClain of Michigan and Mike Collins of Georgia have issued a statement following the signing of the Laken Riley Act into law by President Trump.

The representatives expressed their support for the legislation, emphasizing its impact on deporting violent illegal immigrant criminals. "Violent illegal immigrant criminals have no home in our country. With President Trump’s signature, we will now deport the next Jose Ibarra and ensure that no family has to live through the same pain as the Riley family," McClain and Collins stated.

They further highlighted the demand for change from American citizens, stating, "Over seventy-seven million Americans demanded a change in our country, and House Republicans are delivering real results."
