Matt Maddock, a Michigan state representative, posted several statements on August 6, 2025, addressing topics including air quality policy, utility company practices, and student loan debt.

In a post published at 14:27 UTC, Maddock wrote: "The communists and dems are silent on the Canadian air because their entire air quality scam is about shutting down industry not forest fires".

Later that day at 17:48 UTC, he questioned the actions of energy providers in Michigan by posting: "Did @ConsumersEnergy and @DTE_Energy pass the 650 million in savings onto us when they fired 2000 Meter Readers and switched us to Smart Meters? https://t.co/YxNjtQbCkf".

At 18:06 UTC, Maddock commented on higher education financing with the statement: "Sad. Student loan scam is a genius mechanism used to steal billions from kids and unwise parents to fund communists. HiEd should cost 1/4. Starve the kommie pigs. https://t.co/rOxgQeMjZs".

Maddock has previously been known for his outspoken positions on government spending and regulatory policies as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives.
