The bust of an Oakland-based human trafficking ring has led to seven felony charges, including prostitution and sex trafficking, for a 23-year-old Pontiac man, who is also facing charges in a separate child pornography case.

Investigators have alleged that Dallas Ephraim Jordan-King sexually trafficked at least nine victims for prostitution over the course of more than a year, according to reporting by ABC12 News. Jordan-King’s victims were women in their late teens and early 20s who he first befriended, then groomed to prepare them to be trafficked as prostitutes, investigators allege.

Jordan-King was recently arraigned on charges related to allegations he forced multiple young women to exchange sexual acts for money, according to ABC12 News. He faces one felony count each for forced labor or commercial sex, accepting the earnings of prostitution, transportation for prostitution, conducting a criminal enterprise and felony firearm.

He also faces two felony counts for pandering. If convicted of all counts, Jordan-King would potentially face up to 97 years in prison for all charges.

The separate child pornography charge could carry its own prison time of 20 years, according to ABC12 News.

Jordan-King has also been accused by police of engaging in sexual acts with a minor, though it is not indicated whether that is related to any of the current charges he faces.

The Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) lists Jordan-King as a probationer who was placed on probation in December of last year. He was previously sentenced on Dec. 3, 2019, on three separate charges.

They included one count of felonious assault with a dangerous weapon and two counts of 4th-degree criminal sexual conduct, according to the MDOC website. Any form of criminal conduct is a violation of Jordan-King’s probation status.

Among the identifying marks listed by MDOC for Jordan-King are several religious-themed tattoos, including a chest tattoo reading “Child of God,” a Bible verse and portrait of Jesus on his right arm.
