REMINDER: Winter taxes are due Feb. 14

Reminder

Oxford Charter Township issued the following announcement on Feb 10.

REMINDER: Winter taxes are due Feb. 14

Monday, Feb. 14 is the last day for Oxford Township property owners to pay their 2021 winter tax bills without incurring penalty charges.

There are multiple ways to pay:

* Pay in person at the township hall, located at 300 Dunlap Rd., just north of Seymour Lake Rd. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

* Place payments in the drop box located outside and to the right of the township hall's main entrance. The drop box is only for checks and money orders. Absolutely no cash, please.

* Pay using GovPayNet. You can pay online at www.GovPayNow.com or over the phone by calling 1-888-604-7888. Use location code 7430. GovPayNet accepts Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover and debit cards. A service fee is charged for the transaction.

* Mail payments to the Oxford Township Treasurer's Department, 300 Dunlap Rd., Oxford MI 48371. They must be postmarked by Feb. 14 to avoid penalty charges.

* Pay through BS&A Online at https://bsaonline.com/?uid=1638&sitetransition=true. Folks who use BS&A Online will be charged a 2.8 percent convenience fee (minimum $1.50) if they use a credit card. Residents making payments via electronic check (ACH) will be charged $1.50 if the amount is $10,000 or less and $10 for payments greater than $10,000.

* Pay at Oxford Bank (any branch).

Monday, Feb. 14 is also the last day to pay 2021 summer tax bills without penalty charges. Late summer taxes are, however, still subject to interest charges.
