It’s Flame of Hope Week!
That means that the Torch Run for Special Olympics will be making it’s way through Michigan. The Oakland County Community Torch Run is Tomorrow, September 16. This run has both an eastern leg and a western leg that run through 22 different cities then come together in Southfield. The eastern leg of the run begins in Auburn Hills at 9:02 AM. If you see us, feel free to offer a honk or a wave in support of Special Olympics.
Please note that this run is a separate run from the Michigan Central Route of the Torch Run, which started in the Upper Peninsula on Monday ends in Detroit on Friday.
