Hey, it’s the new guy!
Randy Vesper, Oxford’s new assistant fire chief, stopped by Station #1 earlier today. His official start date is March 13. On Monday, Vesper bid farewell to Port Huron Township where he had served as fire chief since November 2021. Vesper is bringing nearly 33 years’ worth of firefighting knowledge, experience and skills to Oxford. He spent most of his career with the St. Clair Shores Fire Department and is a third-generation firefighter. We wish him nothing but the best as he starts a new chapter in Oxford.
