Representative Lisa McClain, who has been serving Michigan's 9th district in the U.S. Congress since 2021, recently shared her thoughts and upcoming engagements through a series of tweets. Born in Stockbridge, Michigan, and currently residing in Bruce, McClain has a background in business administration from Northwood University.

On November 21, 2024, McClain announced her appearance on a news program via Twitter: "I'll be joining 'National Report' this morning at 11 am ET on @NEWSMAX! Hope you'll tune in."

Later that day, she expressed support for Pete Hoekstra's new role as an ambassador to Canada: "Pete is an excellent choice to further strengthen our relationship with our neighbors to the north. A proud Michigander and an even better man, America is sending one of its best to represent us in Canada. Congratulations @petehoekstra!"

On November 22, McClain criticized the current administration's immigration policies while endorsing former President Trump and House Republicans' plans to address border issues: "Biden & Harris opened the door for millions of illegal aliens to flood into our communities. After 4 years of rising crime, Americans are fed up. On day one, President Trump and @HouseGOP are going to put an end to the border crisis."
