Rep. Lisa McClain of Michigan has expressed her readiness to support the Louisiana Congressional Delegation and the New Orleans community following a recent attack in the city. In her statement, McClain emphasized the need for accountability as more information becomes available.

"As details continue to emerge in New Orleans, our team stands ready to assist Louisiana’s Congressional Delegation and the New Orleans community for whatever they need," she stated.

McClain described the attack as "completely unacceptable and unforgiving" and stressed the importance of holding those responsible accountable. She acknowledged that while justice may not restore lost lives, it could aid families, friends, and victims in their recovery process.

"This attack is completely unacceptable and unforgiving. Pending the emerging details, there must be swift accountability for those responsible. Condolences and payback won’t bring back the lives lost, but it may help families, friends, and victims recover."
