Later that same day, McClain addressed concerns about criminal activities by illegal aliens affecting families in Michigan. She cited specific instances like that of Laken Riley's family to underline the gravity of these issues for Michiganders: "A terrible time for our country?! Tell that to the family of Laken Riley and countless others victimized by criminal illegal aliens. Michiganders want better than this."
