Representative Lisa McClain, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 9th district since 2021, recently took to social media to express her views on several pressing issues. Her statements reflect her continued support for former President Donald Trump and his policies.

On February 4, 2025, McClain posted a message affirming her commitment to working with the House GOP and President Trump to enhance national security. She highlighted legislation such as the Laken Riley Act as part of efforts to prevent illegal aliens from posing threats to American families. In her words: "Promises made, promises kept... We're putting America FIRST."

Later that day, McClain commented on Iran's nuclear capabilities under Trump's administration. She asserted that Iran would not access nuclear weapons while Trump is in office, emphasizing an end to appeasement and supporting the economic pressure applied by Trump: "Iran will NEVER have access to nuclear weapons while @realDonaldTrump is in the @WhiteHouse."

In another post on February 4, McClain criticized USAID for sending funds overseas for what she termed "outrageous causes." She called for a reassessment of spending priorities and fiscal responsibility within the government: "USAID has sent MILLIONS overseas... We must stop this insanity and restore fiscal responsibility."
