Representative Lisa McClain, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan's 9th district since 2021, shared a series of tweets on February 7, 2025. The tweets cover topics ranging from legislative priorities to local law enforcement recognition.

In her first tweet of the day, McClain expressed her enthusiasm about appearing on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" with Representative Bresnahan. She mentioned that they would discuss the House passing the HALT Fentanyl Act along with other priorities of the House GOP. "Excited to join @Morning_Joe on @MSNBC soon with @RepBresnahan to discuss the House passing the HALT Fentanyl Act and other @HouseGOP priorities. Tune in!" she wrote.

Later that day, McClain addressed financial concerns in another tweet. She stated that Americans have called for a reevaluation of spending priorities and indicated that both President Biden and the House GOP agree on not providing unchecked funding for global initiatives and extreme agendas. "Americans have asked us to reexamine our spending priorities," she tweeted.

In her final tweet of February 7, McClain commended Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard for his contributions to community safety after he was named Sheriff of the Year by MCSheriffs. She acknowledged his service on behalf of Oakland County residents and congratulated him on this achievement. "The 1.2 million Michiganders living in Oakland County have a safer place to call home thanks to @OaklandSheriff Michael Bouchard," she noted.
