On April 24, 2025, McClain tweeted her position on manufacturing jobs in Michigan. In her post, "Democrats’ policies have cost Michigan manufacturing jobs." She expressed her support for the negotiation efforts of President Trump, whom she credited with leading a resurgence in American investments and manufacturing.
Later that day, McClain addressed her concerns on electoral participation. According to her tweet "Democrats are fighting harder for illegal aliens to participate in our election system than women." McClain did not elaborate further in the same tweet.
On April 25, 2025, she extended a welcome to Tyleik, a new member of the Detroit Lions, expressing her hope for the team's success. In her supportive tweet "Welcome to Detroit, @tyleikk!" McClain encouraged bringing the Lombardi Trophy back to the city.
Lisa McClain was born in 1966 in Stockbridge, Michigan, and currently resides in Bruce. She earned a BBA from Northwood University in 1997.
