Matt Maddock, a notable public figure on social media, has recently shared a series of tweets critiquing leftist policies and their impact on Michigan. His tweets frequently express dissatisfaction with current environmental and political initiatives.

On May 2, 2025, Maddock stated "Just so you know, the @MichiganDNR has been hijacked by leftist environmentalists who hate nature hunting and fishing. They only care about doing things like this to advance the communist left agenda now #MIGOP #MILEG". Here, he voices concern over the direction of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, suggesting its current leadership is diverging from traditional environmental conservation methods.

Later the same day, Maddock shared another post saying "Cutting off the kommies one taxpayer-funded revenue stream at a time ". The tweet emphasizes his commitment to reducing what he perceives as excessive government spending, highlighting his efforts to address issues related to public funding allocations.

Shortly thereafter, Maddock tweeted "Remember when the left was all save the trees lol". Here, he appears to reference past environmental campaigns with a tone of irony, questioning the consistency of leftist environmental advocacy.

These statements illustrate Maddock's position on current political and environmental policies, particularly in Michigan. Maddock is a member of the Michigan House of Representatives for the 44th district, representing the Republican party.
