Chairwoman Lisa McClain, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 9th district, has recently shared her thoughts on various issues through a series of tweets. On May 4, 2025, McClain expressed her support for the current administration's policies by stating ".@POTUS’ policies are WORKING! ".
The following day, May 5, 2025, she highlighted the efforts of House Republicans in supporting small businesses. She tweeted "House Republicans are helping American small businesses thrive and stay COMPETITIVE. Join us in celebrating National Small Business Week!".
Later that same day, McClain met with Israel’s Ambassador to the U.S., Yechiel Leiter. She discussed America’s commitment to its longstanding ally and efforts to combat antisemitism. She mentioned that "This week, @EdWorkforceCmte will hold a hearing on antisemitism on college campuses."
Lisa McClain has been serving in Congress since replacing Paul Mitchell in 2021. Born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently residing in Bruce, she graduated from Northwood University with a BBA in 1997.
