McClain has been serving Michigan's 9th District since succeeding Paul Mitchell in 2021. Born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently residing in Bruce, she is an alumna of Northwood University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1997.
