MCSA President Sheriff Bill Brown acknowledged McClain's contributions, saying, "We are grateful for the continued work that Representative McClain has completed on many of our priorities during the last Congress and we look forward to partnering in the future to modernize and advance policing."

Michael Bouchard, Oakland County Sheriff and MCSA Vice President, emphasized the bipartisan nature of MCSA and praised McClain's partnership with law enforcement. He remarked, "We are a bipartisan group of the largest sheriff’s offices in America, and we always recognize and appreciate support from legislators who go above and beyond supporting law enforcement.
