Chairwoman Lisa McClain, a U.S. Congress member representing Michigan's 9th district since 2021, recently shared several statements on social media reflecting her views on current events. McClain, who succeeded Paul Mitchell and holds a BBA from Northwood University, has been vocal about national and international issues.

On May 15, 2025, McClain highlighted President Trump's achievements during his trip to the Middle East. She noted the president's success in securing substantial economic commitments for America: "President Trump is making America PROSPEROUS again! During his trip to the Middle East, @POTUS secured historic business deals and investments in America: $1.2 TRILLION economic commitment with Qatar $600 BILLION investment commitment from Saudi Arabia $200 BILLION in".

Later that day, McClain expressed gratitude toward law enforcement officers during National Police Week. She paid tribute to their bravery and sacrifices: "As we mark National Police Week, we pause to honor the courage of those who wear the badge, the ones who run toward danger, and far too often, those who pay the ultimate sacrifice, like Deputy Reckling. No amount of thank you is enough for these heroes."

In another statement posted on May 16, 2025, McClain addressed concerns over comments made by a former FBI director towards President Trump. She called for bipartisan condemnation of political violence: "It is disturbing that the former FBI director would threaten President Trump. Political violence has no place in our country — I urge my Democrat colleagues to join me in condemning this."
