Chairwoman Lisa McClain, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 9th district, shared several statements on social media addressing both national observances and legislative matters.

On May 17, 2025, McClain extended her gratitude to service members in recognition of Armed Forces Day. She expressed appreciation for their dedication with a message: "Happy Armed Forces Day to the exceptional service members who defend our freedoms. MI-09 and our nation are forever grateful."

Later that day, McClain addressed a legislative opportunity concerning border security. She highlighted the potential for House Republicans to advance infrastructure efforts with a bill aimed at completing and modernizing the border wall system. Her post read: "House Republicans have the opportunity in the One Big, Beautiful Bill to fund the completion and modernization of the border wall system." She also directed readers to further information from Representative Gabby Evans.

On May 18, 2025, McClain expressed her sentiments regarding former President Joe Biden's health news. In response to his cancer diagnosis, she conveyed her thoughts and prayers: "I’m saddened to hear of former President Joe Biden’s cancer diagnosis. Thinking of and praying for him and his family."

Lisa McClain has served in Congress since replacing Paul Mitchell in 2021. Born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966, she graduated from Northwood University with a BBA in 1997 and resides in Bruce.
