Chairwoman Lisa McClain, a U.S. Congress member representing Michigan's 9th district since 2021, recently shared her views on several pressing issues via social media. Born in Stockbridge, Michigan, and a graduate of Northwood University with a BBA, McClain continues to be an active voice in the political landscape.

On May 21, 2025, McClain expressed support for House Republicans' efforts to protect job creators and energy producers. She stated that "House Republicans are defending job creators and energy producers against unfair and costly environmental rules."

Later that day, she contrasted the approaches of House Democrats and Republicans regarding the Child Tax Credit. McClain highlighted that "House Democrats want to slash the Child Tax Credit in half to $1,000 per child." In contrast, she emphasized Republican efforts by stating they are working to "BOOST the Child Tax Credit for working families!"

In another post dated May 22, 2025, McClain addressed an antisemitic incident. She condemned the attack by saying "This is sickening and a vile attack on the Jewish community." Expressing solidarity with victims, she urged collective resistance against such acts: "We must stand strong against ALL acts of antisemitic hatred."
