On June 1, 2025, McClain expressed her condolences regarding a recent suspected terrorist attack. She stated, "My thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this suspected terrorist attack. It is sickening that the Jewish community continues to face attacks. Enough is enough."

Later that same day, McClain announced her upcoming media appearance on CNN to discuss both the antisemitic terrorist attack and legislative matters: "COMING UP: Joining @wolfblitzer and @PamelaBrownCNN to talk about the antisemitic terrorist attack and the One Big Beautiful Bill Act."
Lisa McClain was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently resides in Bruce. She graduated from Northwood University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
