Chairwoman Lisa McClain, a U.S. Congress member representing Michigan's 9th district since 2021, recently expressed her views on various national issues through a series of tweets. These posts reflect her political stance and concerns regarding the current administration's policies.

On June 2, 2025, McClain tweeted about what she perceives as the shortcomings of Democratic policies. She stated, "This was 100% preventable and ANOTHER example of Democrats’ America LAST policies."

Later that day, she supported former President Trump's stance on immigration policy in another tweet. McClain asserted that "President Trump is right: We need to keep our borders SECURE and DEPORT illegal aliens to protect our country." She also reminded her followers that Democrats had opposed measures such as building a border wall and funding for detaining and deporting illegal immigrants.

The following day, June 3, McClain urged the Senate to expedite the passage of legislation she refers to as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. She emphasized its importance by stating that "Every day that passes without it sent to @POTUS’ desk is another day closer to the largest tax hike in American history."

Lisa McClain has been an active political figure since replacing Paul Mitchell in Congress in 2021. Born in Stockbridge, Michigan, she resides in Bruce and holds a BBA from Northwood University.
