Chairwoman Lisa McClain, representing Michigan's 9th district in the U.S. Congress since 2021, shared a series of tweets on June 6, 2025. McClain, who succeeded Paul Mitchell, has been vocal about her commitment to economic growth and national security.

In her first tweet of the day at 12:26 PM UTC, McClain expressed fulfillment with political promises made during her tenure. She tweeted "Promises Made, Promises KEPT!!".

Later that afternoon at 2:35 PM UTC, McClain emphasized collaboration between House Republicans and the President of the United States to bolster economic growth and job creation. Her message read "House Republicans are working with @POTUS to grow our economy and create JOBS!!!".

At 7:41 PM UTC on the same day, McClain shared her experience meeting with Sean M. Curran, Director of the U.S. Secret Service. McClain was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently resides in Bruce. She graduated from Northwood University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
